Moments from another time with contemporary themes write the signature on Bart Davenport albums. Physical World fuses fun compositions with near-crooning vocals to create a soundtrack to 21st-century living.
Favorite track: Fuck Fame.
A near-perfect blend of soft rock and pop. Start with a little Randy Vanwarmer, add a dash of The Smiths, infuse a pinch of Louis Philippe, and finish it off with a smidgen of Steely Dan. Nice album.
Favorite track: Girl Gotta Way.

This is a brilliant album, and I'm so glad I've found it here on Bandcamp. I read about it first in Shindig! Magazine and I couldn't find it anywhere. Heard it on Spotify finally, and promptly headed over here to get my own copy of this and your earlier work. Lover your own unique elements, but I also relish the elements of Bowie, Rundgren, Lennon, and the Bee Gees. Thanks again for the awesome new tunes! I'm on a constant rotation of this, Drugdealer's "The End of Comedy," and the new Tycho. Trace Reddell
